It seems that there is interest from players to have a 2nd section which would be USCF rated at the same site/dates as the FIDE RR so I'm giving it a try. The current average rating of this group is 1832. Ideally, the event would look something like this:
9 Rounds, G/75+30s
Round Times: 9:00a, 1:30p, 6:00p each day
Site: Hampton North Hotel
EF: $40
1st - $175, 2nd-$100; I would additionally give the winner an automatic invite to the next FIDE Round Robin that I hold, planned for June.
